Broker Associate / Transaction Manager
Dorothy Arrieta holds a degree in business administration and accounting and has been a Realtor® since 1987. Before becoming a Realtor®, she worked for Citibank International, supervising the accounting department in charge of profitability and governmental reports for the bank. She carried this experience to work for Societe Generale in Century City, California.
The need for a flexible schedule pushed Dorothy to look for a career that allows more time with her children, especially with school and extracurricular activities. With her financial background, she looked into working with a mortgage company as a loan officer. Dorothy’s determination led her to become the company’s top loan producer in just four months. The industry allowed her to peek into the world of real estate, and she realized this might be a career path she’d want to pursue. Having worked with top real estate agents while doing loans for their clients, she learned what it takes to be a top agent by putting the client’s needs first.
Dorothy made her pivot into real estate in 1987. Her drive to succeed earned her recognition as the National Rookie of the Year in her first year, and she continued to be a top producer as she grew in her career. Dorothy’s knowledge of the loan business was a valuable advantage in matching qualified buyers with the right properties.
In 1994, Dorothy joined forces with Steve Spies, a real estate veteran of 30 years, and they used their combined experience in the standard real estate sales, REOs, short sales, and investment properties to become a top-producing team. Steve’s knowledge of subdivisions and new home tracts and Dorothy’s knowledge of the overall real estate process continue to attract more clients and prospects who seek their expertise. They value integrity, innovation, and personalized service for every client they have the pleasure of serving. They are constantly working to meet their clients’ needs and achieve their goals, allowing them to remain competitive in the industry.
