Louie Contreras was born and raised in Phillips Ranch, lived for a time in Orange County, and then fell in love with the charm of Old Towne Orange.
After earning his degree in electrical engineering at California State University, Long Beach, Louie went to work for a local utility company. Although it proved his analytical skills in solving detailed, complex problems, he still found himself thinking about real estate. He had grown up with it — his mother was a Realtor®, and he often tagged along when he was a kid. The more he thought about it, the more he realized that it was his passion.
One day in 2019, Louie was listening to a podcast and was inspired to make a career change. “After lots of reflection, I realized how real estate has always been a major part of my life,” he says. Louie also credits his mother for the core values that guide him personally and professionally. “My mother taught me the true meaning of hard work, grit, and consistency by leading through example,” he says. To that, Louie adds his dedication to continuous improvement, excellence, humility, and integrity, along with the thrill of making a difference in people’s lives.
When he’s not working, Louie enjoys the great outdoors, from the beaches to the mountains. He also is a practitioner of the culinary arts — he loves to cook, and he’s happy anytime he can put together a meal for his family and friends.
