Going through the homebuying process himself convinced Mark Tingey to become a real estate professional. He says, “I would do all the legwork — comparing comps, schools, neighborhoods, etc. — and found myself absolutely loving the process.” Impressed with Mark’s aptitude, his Realtor® suggested he should turn pro. “And here I am,” Mark says.

Born and raised in Fort Collins, Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in business finance and worked at several startup companies. “I love the chase,” he says. “I love serving, negotiating, and creative problem solving to get the deal executed, and I enjoy bringing my business skill set to serve my clients.” Now living in Orange County, he serves Mission Viejo, Ladera Ranch, Aliso Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Beach, Dana Point, and San Clemente.

Mark understands there’s more to real estate than business. “Honesty, charity, kindness, and showing up with a good attitude make all the difference,” he says. “My desire is that I don’t just have clients, but that I have trusted friends.” Representing primary resident buyers and sellers as well as facilitating vacation and short-term rental property acquisitions, Mark advocates for his clients every step of the way to bring their vision to life.

In his spare time, Mark leads a youth group at his church and strives to be a positive influence on the next generation. He’s a family man who likes cars, surfing, mountain biking, and weightlifting as well as trips to Disneyland and days at the beach.
